SPN edit

Dear fellow Wikipedian, once the fresh changes are reverted, it is time to discuss them on the talk page, Talk:Substitution-permutation network. Our goal is to reach WP:Consensus this way, see WP:CYCLE. Re-introduction of changes without discussion slows down the process. Sincerely, Dimawik (talk) 23:06, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Dear fellow editor with an IP 86.126.45.160 (talk · contribs). Please do not revert the reversion of your edit in Substitution-permutation network. This makes little sense, as it wastes time that can be better spent discussing the disagreements, see WP:CYCLE. In this particular case, you have introduced text that is not based on any "source" (WP:RS). Note that I had opened a discussion on the "talk page", Talk:Substitution-permutation network#All output bit are dependent, half change, which would be the proper venue to figure out the WP:consensus. Note that there I agree with you on the need to provide some clarification for readers unfamiliar with the subject, but ask to find the source and change text in accordance with it.
