Continuation War / Chapter Soviet Union/ Material losses
editHi!
You have edited 6 December 2018: Of material losses, authors Jowett and Snodgrass state that 697 Soviet tanks were destroyed[160] and Finnish war historian Matti Koskimaa calculated that the Soviet Union suffered 55 tanks captured, 673 trucks captured, 306 artillery pieces captured, 300 tractors captured and 303 aircraft destroyed.[187]
1. I haven't read Jowett and Snodgrass referenced but the number of 697 tanks destroyed is about the number destroyed in summer 1944 on Karelian Isthmus only. This article is about the whole Continuation War. So you should have here the estimate of the whole war!
2. The Koskimaa study handles the summer 1944 battles on Karelian Isthmus only. You have the publishing year wrong. The right year is 1993. There are no numbers for Soviet Material losses of the whole war and specially no numbers of captured materials at all. If I'm wrong tell me the page where the numbers come from. The other possibility is to edit the right numbers with right references, please!
