Burundi English Official Language

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

When reverting your revert, I specifically asked you not to further revert in order to prevent revert warring - furthermore I asked you to substantiate your views on the talk page which you have not done. In addition, I feel you ignored the evidence I gave on the talk page. Whenever a dispute occurs consensus is always the way forward. I believe you said consensus is not needed when "[the] problem is [based] on facts. Nonetheless, I will summarise my points:

English is an official language in Burundi as of 2014.. There are further references on the talk page (Talk:Burundi). Perhaps you believe that this has not entered into law as a "draft law" has been "adopted". A draft law is otherwise known as a bill. When a draft law is voted on by both "houses" of a parliament (the exact procedures differ from country to country) then that draft law is "adopted" or passed into law. It then becomes a law. See this. The legislation I am referring to is "Projet de loi portant statut des langues au Burundi" i.e. The bill on the status of languages in Burundi.

I request you to either undo your revert or to come discuss and give evidence for your revert on the talk page. Thank you.
