Consistent vandalism - 1st Warning edit

Not surprisingly, your IP address shows Madrid- similar edits tend to almost invariably be made by Hispanics or Brazilians who have historical hangovers against the Portuguese. The Al Andalus genetic sub-section already covers the Moorish contribution in Portugal. For you to add such biased materials to the Portuguese People page, is absolutely no improvement or necessarily accurate- the Arabs stayed in Spain nearly 300 years longer than in Portugal and their culture and language left a many times stronger legacy in Spain. Geographically and historically, Portugal and Spain are different countries, so if by “Western Iberia” you mean Spain and Portugal, your edit is relevant to Andalusia which is Spain, not Portugal. In factual terms, many of the Jews and Moors who took refuge from the Spanish Inquisition, were Spanish... not from Western Iberia but from all over Iberia. And most of those were expelled or left too, also fleeing the Portuguese Inquisition and the infamous Autos-da-Fé. So what is the point you are trying to make here? Some sort of competition on which people, Portuguese or Spaniards are more or less Jew and Arab? Well, look no further and you’ll know the answer: at least 8% of the Spanish language derives from Arabic, Spain has a vast coastline almost touching Morocco and is the ONLY European country with physical borders in Africa. Finally, Christopher Columbus gathered much of his information and exploration knowledge from the Portuguese until the king of Portugal dumped his very expensive adventures. No court in Western Europe wanted to hire Columbus... their loss in the end as history tells us. The point being, the Spanish had been spying and envied the Portuguese new found wealth and seized and opportunity with Columbus... the rest is history. But the Portuguese were the first, then came the Spanish, then the English... the Dutch also tried to compete, but being, like Portugal a small nation they couldn’t secure vast empires. Your edits are prejudiced, inaccurate and try to undermine a People and a Nation you appear to know very little about. Want a piece of constructive advice: go edit Spanish and Hispanic pages which are clearly your area of interest and leave Portugal and the Portuguese alone. Not a nice conduct and some underlying issues there which you should address elsewhere. I’d be tremendously glad not to hear from you further. Any additional malicious edits from your end will be reported and may result in your IP being blocked for Vandalism.
