Margaret John edit

Hi. I tried replying via the link in the notification that I got about your deletion of my contribution but it takes me to a page that says Wikipedia does not have a user page with this exact name, so I hope this is the right place to contact you. Are you absolutely sure it isn't her? I was merely amending and expanding on an entry that had already been made to say that she took part, so there doesn't seem to have been an issue about it before. Have you watched the programme? It's only available for another 24 days, unfortunately, but it sure looks and sounds like her, so it must be an amazing coincidence if it isn't her. True, the programme page doesn't name her, but I'm sure you must realise that she wouldn't have been named, since she was 'only' a contestant and contestants don't get named in credits. I included the https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m001l4r5/lily-savages-blankety-blank link so that people who were able to could see for themselves if and while possible. I am not sure how you can include false information here based on someone thinking someone else looks a bit like an actress! Where's the actual source? "Amazing coincidence" doesn't cut it, there are plenty of people who look similar, and the programme link doesn't help establish that it is her, just someone that looks (a bit) like her. Find a reference that says it's definitely her! (There isn't one :p ) 84.43.93.98 (talk) 15:34, 11 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your reply. As I pointed out, contestants don't get credited and there didn't appear to be a prior issue highlighting her involvement, so it already seemed to be established and accepted. I don't believe it is false information; that's your belief :p You may think the contestant looks a bit similar; I beg to differ. I wish I could find a definitive source, but in the absence of one then I guess I'll have to let it slide. Cybersub (talk) 16:45, 11 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
