Speculation about ethnicity

edit

I note that you have edited several articles to add unsourced claims that the subject is Jewish, and that you have speculated about this on several other talk pages. In most cases, this seems to be based on nothing more that your own interpretation of their surname. But a surname is not necessarily any indication of ethnic origin, and your use of them this way is impermissible original research. In many cases, it is also a breach of the policy on biographies of living people. Please stop making such edits, and ensure that any addition you make to articles is based on a reliable source. I have just turned my router on and logged on. My ISP assigns a new IP address every time I turn on my router. I have no idea who you are addressing. Sorry.84.13.89.135 (talk) 18:45, 25 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
I have difficulty believing this, since virtually every previous edit from this IP, since it first edited three months ago, has been to tag subjects of articles as Jewish. RolandR (talk) 21:30, 25 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Sara Eisen, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 13:07, 18 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
