October 2020 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Forced assimilation has been reverted.
Your edit here to Forced assimilation was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW8j_CHCOMQ) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 15:53, 10 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

January 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Swedish slave trade, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 10:15, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Rus' people. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 13:24, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Rus' people—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 14:24, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Finland under Swedish rule edit

Hello, I noticed that you made the same edit that I reverted on Finland under Swedish rule because it lacked any sources. Your edit results in the statement reading Swedish kings met Finnish people before "settling", instead of the original Swedish kings created the Swedish kingdom together with Finnish people without providing a source. Granted, neither statement is actually sourced, so I would recommend that this part is deleted entirely. Is this alright with you? Sisuvia (talk) 18:46, 27 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

March 2021 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Finland under Swedish rule have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 23:34, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Anti-Catholicism. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Anti-Catholicism was changed by 83.227.81.54 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.910224 on 2021-03-07T22:22:04+00:00

April 2021 edit

Hello, I'm LJF2019. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Battle of Fýrisvellir seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. LJF2019 talk 11:24, 2 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm LJF2019. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Battle of Fýrisvellir because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia.   Please do not add or change content, as you did at Jomsvikings, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dirkbb (talk) 22:28, 2 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Battle of Fýrisvellir, you may be blocked from editing. CommanderWaterford (talk) 21:49, 4 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Need consensus on Goths edit

Hello 83.227.81.54. As an administrator I've been keeping an eye on the Goths article because it has been the scene of past disputes. I would encourage you to wait until you can find WP:Consensus on the article talk page before including your proposed genetic material. On a broad topic like this one, editors often prefer to gather statements from general historians who have summarized the material, rather than use individual papers that are possibly opinionated. In any case, that's a question for the editors who work on the page, and you can try to persuade them. Please remember to WP:SIGN your comments on talk pages. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 15:41, 30 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Did you mean to remove others' comments from the talk page? And you are still not signing your talk posts. Let me know if I can help you with anything. EdJohnston (talk) 20:36, 30 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

May 2021 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Goths, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Notfrompedro (talk) 19:45, 30 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
