WP:BRD edit

There is a rationale to your recent repeated changes at Edinburgh but when you have made a bold change and somebody has reverted you, the correct way to proceed is to engage on the talk page to make your case pending consensus, otherwise you run the risk of kicking off an editing war. I am not going to labour the point by reverting you again on that principle but please read WP:BRD and try to adhere to it as it will make the experience of editing here more productive and conciliatory. Although you have provided edit summaries, it would also be a good idea to make your point on the article's talk page, to say you were unfamiliar with BRD and that if someone has an objection to your edits, you would be happy for them to be reverted until a consensus is reached. All the best. Mutt Lunker (talk) 22:32, 31 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
