edit

Hi 82.209.158.3! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Stridsvagn 103 several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Stridsvagn 103, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. (Hohum @) 17:32, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am not "restoring to my preferred version". There is no such thing as an "S-tank". It was, at BEST, the "S-alternative". Just as the M-60 Patton was not the "A-tank" or the Leopard the "T-tank", but at most the A- and T-alternatives. That people have been playing too much World of Tanks is not an argument. 82.209.158.3 (talk) 21:16, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps not in Sweden, but elsewhere it has been known as the S-Tank for decades, sources have been provided to support this. As I have already made clear, the place to talk about this is the article talk page. (Hohum @) 23:45, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Well, then the question becomes, why is there a "reply" link in the message you sent me. But, that's another matter. And perhaps in Sweden indeed. Which, since the tank is Swedish, is the relevant place, wouldn't you say? That, however, is also another matter. The point is, a nick-name from out of a computer game is hardly a designation for a tank. What matters is its designation, which is the Strv 103. At most, the "Alternative S", since that's what it was called during the planning stages of which tank to procure. S-tank is not and has never been a name for the Strv 103. 82.209.158.3 (talk) 23:50, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Take it to the article talk page. I will not be replying here. (Hohum @) 23:55, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
