Disambiguation pages edit

Please note that disambiguation pages like Stylus (disambiguation) are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
  • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory

I removed Stylus Music because I couldn't find anything other than a minor mention, and edited Stylus records.

Stylus (disambiguation) edit

Thanks for the information on the talk page. It looks like someone (you?) needs to write an article on Stylus Music. I removed it from Stylus (disambiguation) because, as described above, DAB pages are simply navigation pages; they should link to the articles that contain the information. If a reader clicked on Nigel Wright (record producer), hoping for information on Stylus Records, they would be disappointed. Leschnei (talk) 00:47, 5 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

The Stylus Music entry on Stylus (disambiguation) needs to have a link to an existing article that uses the red link (MOS:DABRED). Or Stylus Music could be unlinked and include a link to an existing article that mentions the company (MOS:DABMENTION). A red link by itself will be removed. I've changed Amiga to Amiga productivity software; that takes care of it. Leschnei (talk) 21:17, 6 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
