Town or Village edit
Hello. As noted recently on User talk:80.233.59.195 (and previously at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Ireland/Archive_20#County_Template_changes), what constitutes a "village" or a "town" is the sources. Not your guess or opinion. If in doubt, please check the relevant county development plan. For example, the (current) Laois County Development Plan 2021–2027 (Volume 2: Settlement Strategy) states that "Rathdowney is a small town". Repeated edits (by this or connected IPs), which are not supported by reliable and verifiable (and ideally authoritative) will be immediately reverted (as disruptive and unsupported). Thanks.
