Barnstar! edit

  The New Editor's Barnstar
7cc.19edv, I hereby award you this barnstar for your first edits to Wikipedia, and in particular for your creation of the article Gladys María Bejerano Portela. Well done! Mlm42 (talk) 20:51, 1 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

List of Cuban writers edit

Hi 7cc.19edv, I noticed you created the article Cuban authors and writers, but there is already an article List of Cuban writers, so I think these two should be combined into one (to avoid duplication).

Also, Wikipedia's policy on lists of people says that each person in the list should be notable enough to have their own Wikipedia article (see our guideline Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Lists of people). To see whether an author is "notable" enough for Wikipedia, you will need to check the five criteria listed at Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Creative professionals.. not all authors qualify. Those are just a few things to keep in mind for the future; if you have any questions, feel free to ask! Happy editing! :-) Mlm42 (talk) 20:51, 1 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for November 24 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Norman J. Pullman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bill Jackson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Sanford L. Segal edit

After your recent edits to Sanford L. Segal, the article seems to give an account of details of the course of his life before explaining why he is so notable that there should be an article about him. The latter should be emphasized at the beginning and the former should follow. Michael Hardy (talk) 17:15, 1 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

June 2013 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Luis Davidson San Juan may have broken the syntax by modifying 4 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 07:50, 1 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
