Deprodding of Rupert Clague edit

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}} tag from Rupert Clague, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think this article should be deleted, please do not add {{proposed deletion}} back to the page. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! Hi, half the content on this page was uncited, and half came from his personal website which cannot be used as a verifiable source of information. The edited page does not meet the threshold for notability. I have proposed deletion.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.78.94.116 (talk) 13:06, 7 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

May 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Johnnie Bob. I noticed that you recently removed content from Novara Media without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hi, the content was removed as it cited the personal Twitter handles, websites of the publication which cannot be used as an objective source of information. The comments I left also extensively explained that editorialised content, promotional content was removed. Apologies if that wasn't clear enough.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.78.94.116 (talk) 13:06, 7 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Errin Haines, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you.
