Technical aspects of urban planning edit

These edits are unacceptable:

  • The caption "Wilton Road, Pimlico, London. Two way traffic is typically shared on single roads. This style of high-density city planning has been traditionally favored in most Western countries, but it's principle still remains contested against." is not supported by the reference you give. This is not a style of high-density city traditionally favored in Western countries. There are many Western countries that do not use this style of roadway. Nor does the book you quote support the claim that "it's principle still remains contested against" (and that is grammatically meaningless). This image does not illustrate city Aesthetics, so why have you moved it into that section?
  • The caption "An overcrowded area of Barcelona. Barcelona has the highest-density in Europe." is wrong in both it's claims. This is not a photograph showing an overcrowded area of Barcelona, it shows a crowd at a Christmas lights ceremony. The source you give does not say Barcelona has the highest density in Europe. Finally putting this into the "Decay: section is absolutely incorrect. This image does not in any way illustrate Urban Decay.

"The text has been there for years". Oh, really? You do know the full edit history is available. Here you are putting the text there yesterday. Railfan23 (talk) 01:46, 16 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Railfan23: Did you not see on the text where it states citation needed date=2014. That indeed was years ago.--76.71.5.251 (talk) 01:50, 16 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough. We usually refer to those as "tags" and the "text" is the body text of the article, hence my confusion about your edit summary. Railfan23 (talk) 02:19, 16 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
