5LINX Revisions edit

Hello, Paisarepa!

My name is Nelson Gerard, I am the CEO & Chairman of 5L Holdings, the company currently operating nationwide under the tradename "5LINX". First, I'd like to express that I like WIkipedia and use it often. I do a tremendous amount of research for my business and I find your sight a valuable source of credible information. Today, I writing you to address and hopefully resolve significant errors and ambiguities that exist on your site about my business 5LINX.

As you know, history contains many great examples of companies that become insolvent, fail, and then later resurrected my others that came in, acquired the operating assets of the failed company, and executed a turnaround. When successful, these turnarounds often save countless jobs and restore the company to often better than ever condition. In the Spring of 2016, 5L Holdings acquired the operating assets of 5LINX Enterprises, Inc., including the trademark "5LINX". In September 2016, I acquired the majority interest in 5L Holdings and assumed operational control of the company as its CEO. Since then, my team and I have been executing a complete reorganization of the company from the bottom up, including changing the entire business model form a nearly 100% service based set of offerings to a heavily weighted product based model. In September 2017, in New Orleans, I introduced a full line of OXZGEN CBD products. That was some two and a half years before 95% of the current CBD brands available today even existed. Paisarepa, it hasn't been easy! In fact, it's been a grueling task, but today 5LINX is a great comeback story! The point I'm hoping to impress on you is that there's very little in common between the long defunct company 5LINX Enterprises and today's 5L Holdings!

Nevertheless, time and time again, I am reminded that the information reported on Wikipedia related to 5LINX is outdated, ambiguous, inaccurate and disparaging to 5L Holdings. Despite the fact that my 5LINX helps support thousands of households across the U.S., the continued inclusion of facts related to 5LINX Enterprises, Inc. (a company that hasn't opersated or even legally existed for several years) within your website continues to harm my company in countless ways. One of the most damaging consequences of the information being presented on your site is that a material number of potential business partners/customers walkaway from doing business with us after reading the information provided by Wikipedia on 5LINX.

Yes, 5LINX Enterprises, Inc. was founded in 2001, ceased operations in the spring of 2016, and and was later dissolved in 2016/2017. Yes, the founders of 5LINX Enterprises, Inc., Craig Jerabeck, Jeb Tyler, and Jason Guck, were convicted, but that's history and has nothing to do with 5L Holdings. Because of Wikipedia's popularity and credibility, your site's continued inferred association between 5LINX Enterprises, Inc., its founders, and 5L Holdings has repeatedly damaged 5L Holdings' reputation and business.

5L Holdings hasn't been a named defendent in any type of litigation and I'm proud to report that we have not had any inquiries from any state or federal regulators under my watch. As such, I repsectfully ask that the entire "Litigation" section be removed.

As for Cook County Circuit Court Clerk Dorothy A. Brown and Illinois State Senator Patricia Van Pelt Watkins, people commonly move from one MLM to another or simply stop working the business. This information is irrelevant at face value. Either way, both were representatives under 5LINX Enterprises, not 5L Holdings. As such, I respectfully ask that these passages be removed as well.

That said, I respectfully ask that you consider anything dated prior to 2016 or otherwise unrelated to 5L Holdings to be irrelevant and removed it from the 5LINX page as soon as reasonably possible.

I am more than delighted to answer any questions you might have or provide you with whatever information you reasonably request. Feel free to email directly at nelson@5linx.com.

Thank you in advance for your thoughtful consideration and response.

Nelson Gerard, CEO 5LINX

Some proposed changes to 5LINX article edit

Information to be added or removed: Replace all references to "5LINX" with "5LINX Enterprises, Inc." including the article's title

Explanation of issue: There are 2 5LINX entities. The 5LINX referred to almost exclusively in the wikiedia article refers to 5LINX Enterprises, Inc. which was founded in 2001. This company ceased operations and was dissolved years ago. The legal entity, 5LINX Enterprises, Inc. no longer legally exists.

In 2016, 5L Holdings purchased all the operating assets of 5LINX Enterprises, Inc., including but not limited ot the tradename "5LINX".The Wikipedia article is using 5L Holdings' tradename to refer to 5LINX Enterprises, Inc. I propose that all references to "5LINX" be replaced with the defunct entities proper name "5LINX Enterprises, Inc." to avoid ambiquity and confusion.

A also propose publishing a second article using our trademark "5LINX" that would contain content about the current company legally operating with the dba 5LINX.

References supporting change: Here's the Better Business Bureau url showing that 5LINX Enterprises, Inc. is out of business: https://www.bbb.org/us/ny/rochester/profile/multilevel-sales/5linx-enterprises-inc-0041-66002480 Here's the Better Business Bureau url showing that 5LINX Holdings, Inc. is company currently operating as 5LINX: https://www.bbb.org/us/ny/rochester/profile/multilevel-sales/5linx-0041-235993313
