Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (74.108.12.198) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

Happy editing! JarrahTree 14:17, 19 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Before you start

edit

WP:ABOUT and WP:NOT and for your missive - WP:SOAPBOX - well worth understanding that wikipedia is not a website or blog to play with.

As an online encyclopedia - there requirements of WP:N of text and subject , requires wp:V and then inherently WP:CITE otherwise addition of material requires WP:RS or it is more or less WP:OR and gets deleted. So before you start you need to get an handle on all of this, otherwise you might have to - hey actually https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Drop_the_stick_and_back_slowly_away_from_the_horse_carcass before you even start! whatever you do - read up - the uluru talk page (all the previous comments) and the links given here - you should work out whether to talk away before you start... or not JarrahTree 14:24, 19 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
