Request reason:

Jeez, why is it one year? Maybe reduce it to one month? I wasn't intentionally trying to disrupt, I just thought a page was legitimately not notable enough for Wikipedia. Well, now I know that's wrong, and I am aware that if I want to delete a page the right way, I need to submit a notice at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. I'll learn my lesson and swear off unconstructive editing. If I'm not sure what to do/am in doubt, I'll ask someone more seasoned than do it myself and risk disruption. Thanks.

Decline reason:

Given the history of disruptive editing stretching back to 2020, I see no problem with the length of the block here. Yamla (talk) 20:38, 7 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Response edit

User:Yamla None of the edits before July 2021 were by me. Also, ever since my original block in October I have not committed any vandalism/disruptive vandalism, and have remained careful about this. My intention with making the recent edit about Szymanowski was misunderstood; I wanted to improve the encyclopedia and not ruin it with useless articles.

I've read up on Wikipedia guidelines and am willing to abide by them. I have registered for one account in the past (unused), and technically I could use it if I wanted to, but that would be considered evasion which is strictly forbidden, so I will be a good sport and refrain from utilizing it.

I no longer edit maliciously; I have reformed. As such, the jump from 48 hours to 1 year was rather jarring to say the least. 72.76.95.136 (talk) 20:46, 7 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

If there's a different person who has used the IP address before July 2021, you've done a good job at copying their behavior at least. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:49, 7 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Would this Wikipedia screenshot be a good articles for deletion submission? 72.76.95.136 (talk) 20:55, 7 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
I think we have a deal: Half the block time, but without further trolling on this page here. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:56, 7 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
