WFMJ TV Youngstown
editWFMJ TV in Youngstown is no longer owned by Maag family. The last Maag, a niece of the first publisher of the Youngstown Vindicator, died many years ago. The newspaper and WFMJ TV were held by same interests. The present owner of the TV station is Elizabeth Brown Jagnow. Mrs Jagnow is the widow of Paul Jagnow, who was the city editor of the Vindicator. She inherited the newspaper and TV station from her second husband, William Brown, who also died many years ago and was a Maag family descendant. She had been his secretary at the Vindicator's business office. The title of The Vindicator was acquired by the Warren Tribune Chronicle, an Ogden chain newspaper, after The Vindicator ceased publication. That chain now publishes The Vindicator. The elderly Mrs. Jagnow has one son, Mark, who stands to inherit WFMJ TV.
