Hello, I'm Philipnelson99. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Ignazio Cassis, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Philipnelson99 (talk) 01:35, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Eunice aphroditois. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. The phrase "most notable" violates MOS:PUFFERY without a citation. Hi, I have negative & positive reactions to that. First, please see the WP:WHATABOUT section in the WP:Arguments to avoid in deletion discussions essay. While that page is about deletion discussions in general, the section makes the point that making the argument that one can do something improperly because it was done improperly elsewhere is a poor argument. Something that requires a citation still needs a citation, even if something else has not been properly cited elsewhere. Second, to your point, while there were plenty of mentions of hammer-headed fruit bat in the footnotes, it itself was not cited, & big-lipped bat was not mentioned anywhere. Thank you for pointing that out. I have now fixed that with a citation.[1] Peaceray (talk) 03:40, 14 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm MichaelMaggs. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Three wise monkeys, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. MichaelMaggs (talk) 10:11, 1 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
