Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page.   Thank you for your contribution to Karla Faye Tucker, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely-used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox to get started. Thank you. Its not funny and still disruptive even if you immediately erase them. -- The Red Pen of Doom 04:16, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Spree killers edit

Please do not add examples of famous spree killers to Spree killer until you actually take the minimal effort to learn the difference between spree killers and mass murderers. Someone who goes off shooting a bunch of people is more likely a mass murderer than a spree killer. It's also too bad that so many of the ones already listed there were added by others who don't understand the entire point. DreamGuy (talk) 15:15, 1 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

October 2009 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Spree killer. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. DreamGuy (talk) 16:07, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Vietnam era music edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Vietnam era music. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vietnam era music. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:14, 1 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Spree killers edit

When I reverted your addition of tons of incidents that are not spree killings by any stretch of the imagination I labeled your edit as one made in "good faith" which was probably being generous. Please do not add content to this article that you would know is wrong if you bothered to read the actual definition already listed in the article. Mass murders and massacres are not spree killings. DreamGuy (talk) 22:46, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Plus I see from the above that you were already warned about this. You have no excuse for blind reverting the article. DreamGuy (talk) 22:50, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Please stop changing this from spree killers. This pair spent a long period of time shooting and killing people in a variety of locations both within and without the school and had periods of time between individual shootings. This fits the definition of a rampage killer, which is the same as spree killings. If you revert this again, you may be blocked from editing. Wildhartlivie (talk) 04:58, 15 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold edit

What you need to remember is that very few persons fit absolutely, completely and entirely into a given category, especially ones like rampage/spree killers and mass murderers. By specific definition, anyone who kills a number of persons is a mass murderer, the key comes in when one analyzes the pattern of behavior surrounding the killing. Harris & Klebold arrived at the school, began shooting from the parking lot, moved into the school, shot people in a hallway, went into the library and killed people there. This wasn't in a huge long rush, but in a slow, deliberate manner with time to reflect on their actions in between. That is the very definition of a spree killer. You may have not won the argument on some articles, but to my knowledge this has never been an issue with Harris and Klebold. The key there is the time frame involved. In a shorter time frame, this is the sort of thing done by Malvo and his partner in crime on their shooting spree. Wildhartlivie (talk) 06:50, 15 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. June 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Female Trouble, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You must provide a reference or source when adding material such as this. Mjpresson (talk) 00:42, 4 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Waco Siege. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

You reverted back your text and then you removed the "citation needed" tag without providing a source. I left a comment on Talk:Waco_Siege#no_sources_for_relationship_to_Columbine. Please provide a source or point us to the specific page in the pdf so we can verify the writing, thanks. --Enric Naval (talk) 15:30, 11 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

August 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Mike Huckabee, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Mike Huckabee was changed by 68.97.165.30 (u) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2010-08-03T02:34:04+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 02:34, 3 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
