Welcome! edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (68.193.153.95) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

No personal attacks edit

Your comment in this edit sum is completely unacceptable per Wikipedia:No personal attacks. Regardless of the disagreement you're having with IonPike over tables at List of Nvidia graphics processing units, such a comment is never going to be seen as justified and you need to remember to comply with WP:CIVIL at all times, even in edit summaries. Moreover, editing from an IP address does not exempt you from other relevant policies and guidelines such as Wikipedia:Ownership of content, Wikipedia:Edit warring and Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. My suggestion to you is to start a discussion at Talk:List of Nvidia graphics processing units and try and establish a consensus for your preferred version of article. Unless you change your approach to editing, you're almost certainly going to find your account blocked by an administrator per WP:ANI#Disruptive Editing and Edit Warring by User:68.193.153.95.

I'm posting this because you seem to be knowledgeable about the subject matter and there are probably lots of similar articles where you can put that knowledge to good use; however, the way you're going about things on the Nvidia article and battleground approach you're taking towards editing is not a good fit for a collaborative editing project like Wikipedia and almost certainly will end with you being blocked (yes IP addresses can be blocked) if you continue doing things in such a way. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:28, 17 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Based on your response to @Marchjuly:'s advice, I have decided that you need a break. Please take some time to reflect on the policies noted directly above, and also review WP:OWN. Please be mindful that Wikipedia is not about "freedom of expression" or getting credit for one's contributions, it is about collaborating to build an encyclopedia. If there are disputes, we hash them out responsibly. That's how it works. caknuck ° needs to be running more often 13:35, 17 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
