Interesting stuff. I always change channels when Doc Martin threatens, but he's popular here in England. (And my family have talked me into buying a pair of shoes from Doc Marten who is presumably some sort of relly. Nice shoes.) BUT are you able to provide us with a source - ideally but not necessarily an online source - for your assertion, which I've now gone and copied across to a footnote to another wiki entry that I'm just finishing translating.
