June 2011 edit

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Baramulla. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write practically anything you want. July 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Kashmiri Pandit are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.   Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 00:12, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

October 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Kashmiri Pandit. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

You appear to be moving around a narrow range of IP addresses. Aside from your persistence in inserting unsourced content/removing sensible content from Kashmiri Pandit, you are also persistently changing cited content from that article. This is not acceptable. If you have an issue with the information then please take it to the article talk page at Talk:Kashmiri Pandit. Thanks. Sitush (talk) 23:40, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Kashmiri Pandit, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Sitush (talk) 00:01, 25 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have reverted you yet again. I'll give you one more opportunity to amend your approach because I missed your recent contribution to Talk:Kashmiri Pandit. I have now put that contribution in a more suitable place on the page and I have responded to it. Please, please do not repeat your recent edits. Take time to read some of the links that I provided there and if necessary then feel free to ask some questions etc. If you do continue with your recent trend ofremoving sourced information and adding unsourced information then I am afraid that I will seek to have you blocked from contributing for a while in order that you have some time to learn how to do things properly. That's the way it is: blocks are not a punishment but are hopefully a means of giving you time to follow the community's consensus regarding such issues. - Sitush (talk) 23:35, 25 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

... And again. You really do need to talk these contributions through before committing them to the article. There are various policies to which we are all expected to adhere, including but not limited to those for verifiability and reliable sources. The discussion should be at Talk:Kashmiri Pandit, and if you go to this section of that page then you will see an explanation regarding the issue of Mongols, which forms a part of your recent cycle of edits for that article.
I would agree with you that the article is very poor and I would appreciate some help in improving it. However, any changes really do need to meet the fundamental policies and guidelines of Wikipedia. Simply swapping one non-compliant statement for another achieves nothing at all. I hope to see you on the article talk page. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 00:43, 27 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring at Kashmiri Pandit edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 months for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

February 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. March 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding or significantly changing content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Lawrence School (Sanawar), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Tgeairn (talk) 00:31, 6 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

The above message is not the first that could have been issued for this particular edit of yours. I rather think that you are returning to the old habits that lead to this account being blocked for three months. It has already caused Kashmiri Pandits to be semi-protected, which prevents all IP editors from contributing, not just you. Please can you stop this persistent insertion of poor material and removal of cited material without discussion, across a range of (generally) Kashmir-related articles. You are not just dragging yourself down but also hindering the opportunities available to others who do in fact want to contribute in a positive manner. - Sitush (talk) 00:34, 6 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Lawrence School (Sanawar). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Tgeairn (talk) 01:27, 6 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

December 2012 edit

Hello, I'm Widr. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Homomorphic encryption without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Widr (talk) 16:20, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
