Sofia edit

Ok, super. Create an account, please. It'd be much easier. As for Boris - you're 100% right. Oh, and write in English, please or they'll want me to translate everything. I have a mail as well. If you have qny questions just whistle :). I have plans for the Sofia article - to get it to B class at the least. Cheers.--Laveol T 21:04, 11 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Ок, Супер. Направи си акаунт обаче. Комуникацията ще е много по-лесна. За Борис си 100% прав - и аз днеска го мислих много време. Аааа и пиши на английски, че иначе ще искат да им превеждам всичко. Имам и мейл. Ако имаш нужда от помощ свиркай. Имам планове статията за София да я докараме поне до Б качество в скоро време. Поздрави :)--Laveol T 21:04, 11 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Issues edit

Hi again. I read .... and re-read .... your comments on my talk page. I visited the user in question, and looked at the contributions. It seems to me that my talk page is the wrong place for this, and it also seems to me that you two should be talking more directly. I think you will find common ground if you both WP:AGF and keep a simple 1RR policy between yourselves. Discuss this together, and see if you can come to agreement. If you want me to mediate, would you BOTH please let me know in a few words? Many thanks. docboat (talk) 04:51, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Changes made by SmackBot

Hi, thanks for your message, SmackBot makes a number of changes that are available to all WP:AWB bots - in general these provide a number of non-controversial minor improvements. The issue you raise is related to these, I have left, or will leave, a message about your concerns on the WP:AWB pages. Regards, Rich Farmbrough, 13:10 3 June 2008 (GMT).

Bulgarian pronouns edit

There is a separate article Bulgarian pronouns, so I think your recent contributions in the article Bulgarian language should be moved in Bulgarian pronouns, but be careful not to write something that has already been written. I'm asking you this, because in Bulgarian nouns you've written:

Note : when referring to men, the numerical plural is not used. Thus, traditional words referring to men (almost invariably ending -L and -R) take the non-counting, ordinary form. Thus -
    • dva stola - two chairs, but
    • dvama priyateli (two friends), dvama uchiteli (two teachers), trima lekari - three doctors.
For "modern" professions, both usages can be found: eg. dva(ma) fotografa / dvama fotografi, dva(ma) futbolista / dvama futbolisti. Strangely, nearly all of these "sound wrong" to the Bulgarian ear, due to their traditional non-existence in the language. Thus, while dvama tsarya looks technically correct, and is encountered, the preferred form is dvama tsare, and so on for all similar nouns.

And a few paragraphs below the same information is repeated: "the count form is not used with nouns referring to people". And forms such as "два фотографа", "два футболиста" are considered wrong. It's true that such forms can be found but not with the number 2, perhaps bigger numbers ("осем фотографа"), "два фотографа" doesn't even sound OK. But in the grammar book it's written that the masculine personal forms of the numbers (двама, трима, петима) must be used with plural nouns donating people.

And what does "almost invariably ending in -L and -R" mean? That almost all masculine nouns referring to people end in -L and -R? Because if it's that, it's wrong. There are quite a lot other suffixes, used to form masculine nouns: "-ач" (пазач), "ик" (ученик), and so on.

I'm going to remove this, because it doesn't say anything new and even includes false information. Arath (talk) 15:14, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

P. S. "еднакъв" is not a pronoun, it's an adjective. Arath (talk) 15:17, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Does this subpage serve any purpose at this point? If there is no objection, I am inclined to delete it. It appears to have remained untouched for several years now. bd2412 T 01:14, 2 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
