Speedy deletion nomination of Steve Lieberman the Gangsta Rabbi edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Steve Lieberman the Gangsta Rabbi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. MikeWazowski (talk) 19:02, 27 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Help request edit

--you gave me a speedy deletion warning. as i was contesting--proving notability for the artist by your own guidelines--you deleted the page without even hearing my case. and you deleted my contestment because it linked to a deleted article. help

I have moved this down because new additions normally go at the bottom of talk pages, and that is where people look for them. Your first step should be to talk to the administrator who deleted the page: you can see who that is (user RHaworth (talk)) by clicking on the "redlink" for the article title above. Re: Steve Lieberman edit

You're most certainly welcome 613codify, thank you for your message. I like when I see others putting an honest effort into addressing tag issues as they arise, and that's mainly why I decided to go back and help out a bit more. I've probably missed a lot of smaller things, but I'm guessing it may now be a little easier to see your way through. I would have acted a bit sooner, but it seemed that you would return every time I was about to begin, and I really didn't want to chew off a huge edit if it seemed there'd be a strong chance of losing all my data in an edit-conflict. I can see that a lot of hard work has gone into creating your article... and I think I'm going to watch it for awhile to see how it develops. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of each other in days to come ;). Thanks again, and happy editing! :)  -- WikHead (talk) 11:58, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Steve Lieberman 21st cd My Magic Last Days 2012.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Steve Lieberman 21st cd My Magic Last Days 2012.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:23, 29 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for December 31 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited My Magic Last Days, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Garage and Industrial (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Direct quote edit

In this edit, I corrected some false quotations. When you make direct quotes, that is, when using quote marks "like this", please use the exact words that the source used (although spelling and punctuation should sometimes be changed; see the MOS:QUOTE guideline for details.) If you don't want to use the source's exact words, please indicate the changes with methods like these:

  • An ellipsis (three dots). "Bla bla bla ... bla bla" means that some words were left out.
  • [Square brackets]. "We [shall] never surrender" means that "shall" wasn't part of the original quote, but "We shall never surrender" is what the quote means in context.
  • Indirect quotes. Churchill said that they must never surrender. I didn't use the exact words, and without quote marks, readers won't expect the exact words.

A quote enclosed in quote marks, with none of the clues I listed to say that the quote is inaccurate, is called a misquotation. Since people will expect the quote to be exact, it makes Wikipedia less reliable, and if done deliberately, it might even be called dishonest. Please see this web page for more details. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of The Rabbi Is Dead edit

The article The Rabbi Is Dead has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable, lack of notable reviews, no charting info

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Noise militia moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Noise militia, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 21:43, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

i understand that, the article was just begun and certainly not ready. there is no 'notablity' issue but --this is under construction. theres additional issues--the page should be called as the song is called 'The Noise Militia (#38/76)'====
