July 2012 edit

Not the References section. Anyway, just don't do it. --Niemti (talk) 11:12, 3 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not use Wikipedia Talk Pages as message boards or forums, as you did with these edits to Talk:Women in Refrigerators. As indicated by WP:FORUM and WP:TALK, article Talk Pages are solely to discuss ways to improve the article, and not for general discussion of the article's topic, or for contacting the subject of the article. For information on Talk Page etiquette, see Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. If you have any other questions about editing, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 08:50, 6 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please stop using talk pages such as Talk:Anita Sarkeesian for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article; not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you. Kindly stop with the wild accusations and speculation. Thanks. NeilN talk to me 04:32, 7 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

I can see that you've already been warned twice for this, but I feel like the message still isn't clear. Wikipedia talk pages are not forums, message boards, comments threads or chat rooms. Please do not post about anything except ways to improve articles. Euchrid (talk) 07:16, 11 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you use talk pages for inappropriate discussions, as you did at Talk:Samus Aran, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. NeilN talk to me 21:12, 13 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ok - please stop now. You've been posting this stuff to random article talk pages for some time now and a number of editors (mostly men, ok?) have asked you not to. The last one was Talk:Women and video games, which has now been hatted/closed. Talk pages are not for general discussion of how all feminist hate men, etc, etc, but are for discussions relating to editing the article subject. I've blocked your IP for three hours - not a huge amount - just so you can pause and re-appraise what you're doing here. We welcome your edits to subjects you are knowledgeable about, but this random talk-page ranting needs to stop - Alison 21:18, 13 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • You've been warned and blocked for using talk pages as forums for your personal opinions. Apparently you choose not to stop. If you return from this latest block to this behavior, longer block periods will result. Tiderolls 21:11, 15 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
