- Hello! Shostka is fully controlled by Ukraine
- My grandma and my friends lives here and they says that city is under Ukraine control
- Also you can check the city mayor's Facebook page - it says nothing about russian occupation but u can see photo of Ukrainian soldier in city
- The Netherland site u provided as source isn't trustable

- First, Wikipedia only accepts reliable sources for information. Messages from friends/family is considered original research and is not allowed on Wikipedia. Secondly, that link to the facebook page does not directly show any mention about the city. Wikipedia uses direct links, meaning the URL should be of the post, not the home page of a facebook page. Thirdly, there is no discussion that has taken place on Wikipedia to say the “Netherlands site” is unreliable. If you feel it is, please see the page on Wikipedia’s reliable sources (linked above) and open a discussion about it. I saw while typing this message you reverted my revert, but based on this message, I do not see a valid reason for the revert to remain, so I will be reverting the message. Before reverting again, I encourage you to open a discussion on the battles talk page. (Also, this will be partially a procedural revert since you messed up a reference with it, placing a title in the URL spot, and not providing a URL for it.)
