Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the ones you made to Talk:Catholic Church sexual abuse cases. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Nice to meet you

Re Handke: when I see an IP user I treat them like newbies, - sorry about that. Couldn't you sign in with a name I could remember? - Wikipedia uses given names rarely, as you may know. After a person was introduced with a link and full name, only the surname is used. I hate edit wars, so won't revert you, but you could apply that part of the Manual of style yourself. In this case, he was linked even twice.

One thing I don't like - so you could please avoid it next time you see my name - is "I know where you are coming from". I doubt it. I explained on the article talk where I was coming from. In case that was unclear: project Germany, seeing that a German gets an international prize, watching a discussion that his article is too bad to mention that on the Main page. I spent a half a day of my life to change that bad quality, knowing almost nothing about the person and his work, but knowing that an article about a great literary figure should contain something about literature, not more than 50% about political controversy. I believe it's really enough to mention the same conflicts twice, but see above, I hate edit warring. Happy editing. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:27, 12 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Names are not important, only whats, hows and whys (three physicist's questions too).
OK, I added just name and left it without a link. Again, names and persons are irrelevant (so I don't care anything regarding yous, whos, whoms, where-ones, etc.). Thank you for a such amazing and neutral article but what has to be mentioned it has. I hate censorship and like seas of information; however, I respect rules and guidelines and if users conclude on talk page some info I or anyone (I like words like any, anyone, anybody, everyone, one, also 'we' could pass; and "hate" words you, I; at least regarding WP) added is irrelevant or should not be in article generally, it will be removed sooner or later by any editor who cares even a little about the content. Feel free to edit always, as everyone always should; remove double statements and point where they are else in the same or significantly similar form. Do not remove relevant reliable references unless same URL/work or/and overreferencing (ref bombs, there is a WP "official" guideline on this too). --5.43.99.155 (talk) 20:48, 12 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
Agree. I "edit always", and boldly, but I never revert the same thing twice, - then wait for others to agree with me or not. Thank you for removing the "mass-killing" thing. I would have liked to send an easy thank-you-click, but that's not possible for an IP. You are invited to use a name, which could be this IP number ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:47, 13 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
