Hello. Thank you for your edit to Liberation Day (Channel Islands) though I have reverted it and added up to date citations that state that it is the islands' national day.

Hi, thanks for taking the trouble to find new citations, but still it is incorrect. One article discusses the meeting that was held last year to decide whether to continue with the celebrations - one does not have periodic reviews of an official National Day. The second article reflects one politician’s personal opinion - “The ninth of May has become our national day”. In other places the term National Day is in quotes, specifically to indicate that it is being used figuratively. It is a day that commemorates the end of the German occupation of the Channel Islands and is not always a public holiday, unlike Christmas Day or New Years Day, for example. (Apologies if I haven’t replied to you in the correct way, I’m not sure about this at all).
