Welcome!

Hello, 49ersfan, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome!

Please note that we will be removing the "Notable Race Events" across all the Amazing Race articles, in order to remove trivial details which should not be included in any Wikipedia article. See Talk:The_Amazing_Race_12#Notable_race_events for details. --Madchester (talk) 21:17, 25 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for experimenting with the page The Amazing Race 12 on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

Again, please review Talk:The Amazing Race 12 to see the changes that we will be implementing for the Race pages. The old section on "notable race events" is considered trivia, which is not permitted on Wikipedia. Also, tv screenshots are non-free images and they can only be used for critical commentary or identification. The use of such images is limited on Wikipedia articles, see WP:NFCC - Point 3 --Madchester (talk) 02:53, 26 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

ER Final Date edit

Your edits noting the final airdate for ER as March 12 have been reverted. While it's reasonable to conclude from the premiere of King that NBC will end ER on March 12, they've made no announcement to that effect, and neither of your sources states a date. Please stick with what's actually in your references and avoid making inferences from tangental information. Drmargi (talk) 01:47, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

May 2011 edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Shaquille O'Neal, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 20:52, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Note: Your edit broke one template and added unsourced info to a BLP. --NeilN talk to me 20:55, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
