January 2018 edit

Hello, I'm Sjö. I noticed that you made a change to an article, American Pie (song) ‎, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. OH NO! Banned from Wikipedia editing? Golly gee whiz that's just awful! Your pathetic article on Don Mclean's song is a joke. Half of it is devoted to that no talent hack Madonna b/c ONE of you idiots ("Indian" isn't it?) is in love with her. You can take this article and shove it as far up the old rear as it'll go. And another thing. I really wouldn't go around hat in hand trying to solicit money from people to support Wikipedia when editors such as yourselves turn out garbage like this.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.138.90.156 (talkcontribs)

Wikipedia strives for neutrality and presenting facts as they are told about in reliable sources. Your hatred of Madonna and the resulting edits isn't compatible with those standards. Sjö (talk) 08:44, 7 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

I don't have a "hatred for Madonna" I have disgust for an article about Don Mclean's American Pie that's been usurped by an article regarding Madonna's version. And I have disgust for editors like yourself "sjo" that can't tell the difference between opinion and reporting.
