Welcome! edit

Hello! I noticed your contributions to Trick-or-treating and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

Request reason:

I can't see any reason why the IP range I am currently editing from has just been hit with an extremely long block. Looking through the last several hundred contributions, I see nothing that looks like vandalism of any kind. In September and earlier, there are hundreds of edits which changed date formats unnecessarily and were reverted. But that does not correspond to the claimed long-term abuse, and why act two months later anyway? 46.208.236.129 (talk) 10:40, 10 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

We will not lift this block. If you wish to edit, sign in with your account. If you don't have an account, one may be created for you via WP:ACC. Yamla (talk) 11:09, 10 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

You haven't said what the reason for the block is. If there is a reason, then you should simply say what it is. That is just a simple courtesy to anyone who ends up using this IP range, the majority of whom obviously wish to contribute in good faith. Why are you preventing their good-faith contributions? And who is the "we" to whom you refer? 46.208.236.129 (talk) 11:13, 10 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I think that you know the reason, and if you don't, it can be discussed further once you have an account. Anyone on this IP range wishing to edit is free to request an account for editing access. There is nothing more to do here. 331dot (talk) 11:15, 10 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
