They call him an "alternative historian". That's the same thing... RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 22:24, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
I have tracked down the sources and they both clearly discuss him in the context of bad scolarship, the first one clearly marking him as an "alternative historian". RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 22:32, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
@RandomCanadian: this IP range is now blocked (not by me, by another Checkuser). Doug Weller talk 15:01, 4 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Doug Weller: Well, I had my doubts about them too. In any case, they did have kind of a point that the sources used for the BLP didn't use "pseudo-scholar"; though the different between that and being "described as an 'alternative historian' and a 'militant amateur'" seems to me mostly one of terminology and not of substance... @RandomCanadian: maybe, but this is a long term abuser and shouldn't have the satisfaction of being allowed to edit and their edits kept. Doug Weller talk 15:47, 4 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
