edit

Hello, I'm ChiveFungi. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! --ChiveFungi (talk) 16:00, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your edits are still suggesting that he's a pedo which violates WP:BLP, and you're basing your suggestion on WP:OR, and your comment isn't contributing anything to how the article should be improved which means your comment is off topic so it violates WP:NOTFORUM. --ChiveFungi (talk) 16:18, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Also, please note that you do not have any "rights" to edit this or any page. Editing Wikipedia is a privilege, subject to certain policies and standards (to which you indicate tacit agreement when you edit). If you violate those policies, your ability to edit the encyclopedia at all may be revoked. This includes very specific policies concerning defamation and other negative commentary, especially concerning living persons, in this case Musk, the diver, or anyone else mentioned in the article. You seem to be confusing the words EDIT and TALK and the different rights to do different things.45.58.195.45 (talk) 16:32, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
No confusion here. And those policies I referred to apply to any Wikipedia page, including Talk pages. General Ization Talk 16:35, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Also, you seem to be confusing public, governmental entities with private groups. Wikipedia is a private group, we are allowed to set our own standards to determine as to who is and is not allowed to post on talk pages. See WP:FREESPEECH. All of the posts coming from this IP address have been inappropriate. If you don't find something else to do, you will be blocked. I don't even mean "something else to do on the Elon Musk talk page," I mean leave the entire subject alone. Ian.thomson (talk) 16:35, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ian.thomson (talk) 16:49, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
