Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri
editHello and Salam. You seem intent in trying to have the Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri article include the Shaykh ul-Islam title. The problem with your position is that he is recognized as such only by his followers (mainly within Munhaj ul-Quran) and friends. He is not (yet) universally recognized as such throughout the Islamic world. My advice would be for you, therefore, to add a line that says something like "Qadri's followers see him as a major Islamic reviver and have bestowed upon him the title of Shaykh al-Islām, an honorific title that carries with it significant prestige." You would need to provide reliable and published third-party sources, of course, which means sources not connected with Qadri or his organizations.
