This article actually describes what is correctly termed a "microcomputer". The term "PC", as introduced by IBM in 1981 to describe their model 5150, is now generally used to describe any IBM PC compatible microcomputer. Non-IBM compatible microcomputers such as Macs are generally not termed PCs, neither by the manufacturer nor the user base. Since there already exist good Wikipedia pages on both (IBM-compatible) PCs and on Microcomputers in general, this page has no use and should be converted into a link page with links to the Microcomputer and IBM-compatible PC article.
