Author abbreviation standard form

edit

Hello, thank you for your spelling corrections at Aquilegia coerulea. However, you introduced some errors when you added a space to the author abbreviations in the citations. In taxonomy authors are abriviated without spaces so it is, for example E.James rather than "E. James". At the International Plant Names Index E. James returns no results where E.James returns the result Edwin P. James (1797-1861). Just in case you run across this again in a plant or other species description. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 15:23, 26 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
