January 2018 edit

This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Charlene McMann, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.   Aloha27  talk  17:27, 17 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

This is the only warning you will receive about ownership of articles, which you showed at Charlene McMann. The next time you continue to disruptively edit Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. If you have legitimate concerns about the article's existence, go to WP:AFD. Do NOT keep removing well sourced content because it paints you in a bad light. I'm sure Kim Jong Un doesn't like his wikipedia page. Bellezzasolo Discuss 17:28, 17 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

I’m trying to get my name deleted from Wikipedia. My husband put my name on year a long time ago. I’m not a notable person or public figure. I was charged with a crime I did not do but had to do a plea deal because I was threatened. My life is a disaster because of it and I have many health issues. I told the judge in court recently I never committed a crime but I am from Chicago and it is a dirty corrupt city if you don’t go along with them. Im just trying to move on in my life. I never committed a crime in my life but forced to take a plea deal on something I didn’t do, this was a single incident in my 67 yrs of my life. I don’t belong on Wikipedia it is for notable people. I was a single mother all m life and worked just like a normal person and did charity work when n husband, mother and friend had cancer and that’s how I started doing cancer with. I never stole anything from a charity. I need help trying to figure out how to get a deletion request to get off of Wikipedia. I have been guided by some to pages I don’t I don’t understand. I only edit information and remove it to get somebody’s attention . I don’t know how it works. Please help me if you can. ≤Charlene McMann2601:249:901:150D:FC25:47C7:CC9D:46E7 (talk) 18:16, 17 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Copy from my talk page edit

Hi, I’m Charlene McMann and I’m trying to be removed from Wikipedia. I’m not a notable person to be on a Wikipedia. My husband Scott Seaman put me on here and I took a plea deal but I was threatened to do so. You took him off and he wanted to stay on. I don’t want to be on here, it’s ruining my life and I have many health issues. I don’t know how to use all this Wikipedia stuff and can figure it out. I’m trying to be removed because of what I posted before. I’m not trying to disrespect Wikiepedias guidelines at all, I can’t figure them out. I have poor eye sight from losing done vision in my eye so I can’t follow everything. I’m not familiar with the stuff like you are. Please help me in getting nominated for deletion of my name on Wikipedia.

Thank you, Charlene McMann2601:249:901:150D:FC25:47C7:CC9D:46E7 (talk) 17:47, 17 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

The appropriate procedure is WP:AFD - However, this is an old case. The only issue here would be WP:NOTE. I sincerely doubt that the page is not meeting guidelines, but certainly the best way to go about things is to stop trying to blank the page. That makes people view you as a vandal, it gets reverted, and you get ignored. If you play by the rulebook (there's a guide here: WP:PG), people will be much more accommodating. I'd say the best argument you have is WP:BLP1E - Single event notability. Bellezzasolo Discuss 18:01, 17 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
