Hello there. Seems there is some misunderstandings about how infobox templates work.
If you want parameters added to Template:Infobox university, you must go the page Template:Infobox university and click the "View source" tab at top, which will take you here [1]. Then click on the blue button at lower right "Submit an edit request" and follow the instructions.
(It is not possible to add parameters at the doc page Template:Infobox university/doc you've been trying to edit.)
