Removal of image from Dean Dixon edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you removed File:Dean Dixon (1941).jpg from the Dean Dixon article, mentioning "Copyright" in your edit summary. I'm not sure why you think the image is a copyright violation, though - on its page there is information indicating that the image is in the public domain.

If you think the file is actually copyrighted, could you please provide some more information about why you think that is? If it really is copyrighted, it would be worth starting a deletion discussion for it, probably on Wikimedia Commons, where it appears that file is hosted. For now I'm going to add a different image to the article on Dixon, but unless you have more information on why you think the previous one is copyrighted, I think it can be added back as it really does appear to be public-domain. Thanks. --Opus 113 (talk) 07:19, 1 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
