Number of dead at the Second Battle of Pyramid Lake edit

Hi, I saw your February 6 edit to the Second Battle of Pyramid Lake, where you changed the number of regulars and volunteers killed from 3 killed to 4. The citation for that is Michno, Gregory (2003). Encyclopedia of Indian Wars: Western Battles and Skirmishes, 1850–1890. Missoula: Mountain Press Publishing Company. p. 74-75. ISBN 0-87842-468-7., which I happen to have a copy.

On page 75, Michno states that 25 Paiutes were killed and about 20 were wounded. 3 regulars and volunteers were killed and 5 wounded. I reverted your change and in the summary wrote: "Michno p. 75 states "The Paiutes killed 3 men and wounded 5." If you have a different reference for 3 dead, then please provide it. I updated 20 wounded Paiutes to "about 20" and added refs for the wounded counts."

I see that you made another edit where you reverted again from 3 regulars and volunteers killed to 4. Do you have a citation that supports this? Are you aware of the WP:3RR policy? I'm not interested in edit warring, but I am interested in making a better article. If there is a WP:RS source that supports 4 regulars and volunteers being killed then I'm happy to see it included. Let's discuss this and make a better article. Cxbrx (talk) 04:28, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Number of dead in the Paiute War overall edit

I saw your edit to Paiute War, where you updated the total number of dead. Could you update Talk:Paiute War with your reasoning?

BTW - I see that Special:Contributions/2600:1010:B12D:577F:91DC:4812:3931:8534 made similar edits on February 6. I encourage you to get a named account so that your edits are listed in one place. Cxbrx (talk) 04:50, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Number of dead at Williams Station massacre edit

I saw your edit to Williams Station Massacre where you changed the number of dead from 4 to 13. In the text of the article I described the confusion about the 12-13 purported to be dead. Let's discuss this at the Talk:Williams Station massacre. Cxbrx (talk) 04:50, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Casualties in Red Cloud's War edit

I see that you edited Red Cloud's War and changed the casualties from ~200 to 200+. Is this supported in the reference? If not, please provide a reference and and/or discuss it at Talk:Red Cloud's War. I've found that multiple WP:RS sources report different versions of facts and am happy to include multiple sources with different views. Cxbrx (talk) 04:50, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Number of dead in the Dakota War of 1862 edit

In your edit to Dakota War of 1862 you changed the number of dead from 358 to 800+ with a summary "Accuracy it is well known 800+ civilians died during the new ulm raids. Some historians even thing it was over a thousand." Is the 800+ supported in the reference cited or in any other reference? I'm sensing a pattern here... Cxbrx (talk) 04:50, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
