Legal liability edit

Have you considered suing the law school where you studied? I am not a lawyer myself, but I would have thought that they would be legally liable for teaching you so badly that you have so little idea of normal legal procedures. For example, it is astonishing that a qualified lawyer could possibly make this comment. However, since you say that you are an attorney, and I wouldn't like to suggest that you are lying in an incredibly inept attempt to produce a chilling effect, I have to conclude that you are an attorney with an astonishing ignorance of how to act as a lawyer, which must mean that you are the victim of grossly incompetent teaching.
