I DID discuss it though! Plus, my reliable sources were removed by somebody who refuses to accept that the information that THEY are going by is nothing but biased lies and misinformation- and as a fact-checker, I called them out on that, so they didn't like it, had a hissy fit, and removed my reliable sources because they didn't like being called out. That's not on me- it's on THEM. As a fact-checker, I am the one with the legitimate information! 24.78.138.224 (talk) 04:36, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
You would block a fact-checker? I HIGHLY doubt that, because if it wasn't for people like me, this world would be even worse off than it already is! The world NEEDS fact-checkers like me to help them know the difference being lies and reality! You should be thanking me for having the correct information instead of threatening to block somebody for having the FACTS. 24.78.138.224 (talk) 04:39, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

The consensus I have is from pretty much everyone on Planet Earth besides you, which also drastically outnumbers you ! Also, why did you put the spammer article back in? That's completely asinine on your part, as even multiple people on the spammer page's talk page confirmed that is is a spammer page, and that it shouldn't be used as a source! I'm the fact-checker here, which means I know what I'm talking about- UNLIKE you! What's so hard to understand about that? Hmm? Fact-checkers are always- and I mean ALWAYS- right, because we're the ones with the FACTS, and considering the FACTS are completely and utterly incapable of lying, that means that when going by the FACTS, that makes you ALWAYS right! You should try it sometime- it's really quite incredible being ALWAYS right! 24.78.138.224 (talk) 07:38, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 years for block evasion.

But this IP address was never blocked to begin with! How can there have been any "block evasion" if this IP address was never blocked in the first place? This is BS and discrimination! 24.78.138.224 (talk) 04:50, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Just because this is a University IP address does NOT mean it's block evasion, because Universities have multiple IP addresses. We also have no way of telling which- if any- or our students would've done anything to warrant an IP address block, but as we have a number of IP addresses for our students to use, even if they WERE to have used one of ours for negative purposes, using a different one in this case is NOT "block evasion", as they would have a different IP address in their dorms, as well as a different one if they're in the University itself. That's NOT "block evasion", that's BS! "Block evasion" would be intentional, whereas this is not! We're not talking immature high schoolers here, we're talking fully grown adults who are studying to become such highly-esteemed things as doctors, nurses, lawyers, therapists, etc- all of which are jobs that are FAR more esteemed than a Wikipedia editor! Even editing Wikipedia would classify as an extracurricular activity for our students, and as the dean of this highly esteemed university, by your wrongfully blocking our IP address without merit, explanation, or reason means that all the other sites our students use for their studies do the same, and we can't have that! In fact, blocking ANY of our IP addresses is strictly prohibited! That is a rule that our University stands by! 24.78.138.224 (talk) 05:01, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Bogus, BS "block". edit

You cannot tell us that this IP address was used for so-called "block evasion", when this is a University IP address, and is monitored constantly for the safety of our school and all its members- be they students or faculty members. Our students are required to have accounts for their studies, and as such, blocking this IP address is strictly prohibited! You have no proof of this IP address- or any of our other IP addresses- being used for "block evasion", and while we do have multiple IP addresses here, that is because the students have a specific one for their dorms as well as different ones within the University for their courses. We have it that way for the safety of our students and faculty members! It is NOT for the bogus, BS reasons that have been claimed here, that's for sure! Thanks for understanding! 24.78.138.224 (talk) 05:23, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Bogus, BS "block" Pt. 2 edit

What did our IP addresses do to warrant such treatment? We were not informed of any reason for that! This is a University IP address, and the students must be able to access their accounts for their studies. Blocking our IP address makes it MUCH harder on our students, as it doesn't just block it for your site, but for ALL the sites our students use, which is why blocking it is absolutely asinine! We require it to be unblocked immediately! Nobody at this highly prestigious University did anything wrong, and we do NOT appreciate being told that our IP address block appeal was nonsensical, when in actuality, the IP address block was nonsensical! If our IP addresses get blocked, then other sites that our students use for their studies do as well, and so it is INCREDIBLY crucial for us to not have our IP addresses blocked! We cannot say what we'll do differently, as no one here did anything wrong, so to change things up for false information would be completely pointless. Our students are required to let us higher ups know if anything ever happens like this so that we can deal with it and get it sorted out, which is why as the dean of this highly-esteemed university I am here doing just that! Preferably I would like to get this sorted out BEFORE we have to get the chancellor of our university involved! We were not told/informed anything about why our IP addresses were blocked, which is why this makes no sense! We've had many students try to make accounts using our IP addresses so that they could edit using them, but to no avail. We require our students to have accounts here for their studies, which is why we require our IP addresses to be unblocked immediately! Thanks in advance for unblocking our IP addresses! 24.78.138.224 (talk) 05:24, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

You can still read and access Wikipedia. No one disabled access to the site. You just can't EDIT and add WP:OR anymore. Mike Allen 05:26, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Nobody added "original research" either! Even if anybody did edit, the thing that nobody did was add "original research", we have a bunch of fact-checkers here, so they'd know the difference between legitimately factual information- which is what they would've added, and so-called "original research", which isn't based on facts! Again, you're claiming lies and BS that never happened! If it wasn't for the fact-checkers of the world, this world would be in even more trouble than it already is, and so we're extremely proud to have so many legitimate fact-checkers attend this highly-esteemed University! Not allowing our students to edit goes against what our University stands for, and one way or another, you WILL allow us to do that again! We have a VERY strict rule against censorship here, and that is what you are doing with your bogus BS lies and misinformation! The fact-checkers are right in what they say, as they've done the research to back it up! It's time to accept that and remove our 100% wrongful "block"! Don't make me get the chancellor of our highly esteemed University involved! He's a VERY busy man, and so he'd prefer to not have to get involved, but if need be, he absolutely will come and have a "chat" to get this 100% wrongful block sorted out! 24.78.138.224 (talk) 05:40, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

This is a University IP address, and was NOT used for the purposes that were claimed! This IP address was never blocked before, and so it's impossible for it to have been used for "block evasion", when it was never blocked in the first place! Even though we have multiple IP addresses, none of them would be used for purposes such as "block evasion"! This is libel against our fine establishment that has done nothing wrong! We were given no explanation as to what happened, or why such filthy, disgusting lies were made up about our highly esteemed University! We require this be sorted out and fixed immediately! Thank you for understanding! 24.78.138.224 (talk) 05:21, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Of COURSE you're going to cover your site's ass for making such a biased, bogus, BS wrongful "block" to our IP addresses! Covering without any sort of evidence that this- or any of our IP addresses- were blocked before, or even that it's "block evasion" (which it isn't)- is SO very typical! That's why- unless you have any sort of legitimate evidence that that happened (and you do not), then we will refuse to believe you! We will continue to appeal until a real, unbiased person realizes your HUGE mistake an unblocks us! Of course- in the meantime, if you have any legitimate evidence (and you don't), then please- DO share! But nothing you could share would prove that ANY of our IP addresses did any sort of "block evasion", because that never happened! This IP address was never blocked before, so it can't be used for "block evasion" when it was never blocked before now! Unless you have 100% legitimate, RELIABLE proof that it was used for those purposes (and you don't), then it didn't happen! There's also the fact that if if you did have possible proof it would immediately be proven false by what we've already stated, as even though we have multiple IP addresses, to our knowledge, none of ours are blocked, but even if somehow one was, we'd be doing the same to get that one unblocked, and not only that, because our students would have a different IP address depending on where they are located within our highly-esteemed University, even if one of the IP addresses they used was blocked, this one would not have been used as a means of "evading" any sort of block, as it wouldn't be intentional. Legitimate "block evasions" are 100% intentional, but it would not be intentional in this instance, as for safety reasons, we have multiple IP addresses in each area of the University, and considering these aren't immature high school kids, our students would know better than that, as these are highly intelligent men and women who are going to be doctors, nurses, lawyers, therapists, and other highly esteemed jobs someday! Regardless, we WILL continue to appeal until somebody with an unbiased mind realizes the mistake that was made and corrects it! 24.78.138.224 (talk) 08:07, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

If we weren't informed by anybody as to what- if anything- even happened with our IP address that qualifies it as having wrongfully been used for "block evasion", then continuing to block without evidence is even more asinine! Unless there is proof (and there is not), then this is a 100% wrongful block! Blocking ANY of our IP addresses is against our highly esteemed University's rules! 24.78.138.224 (talk) 08:12, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I am declining this nonsense request as it seems that you can't discuss this in a calm, civil manner. If you can't do that in your next request, you will lose talk page access. 331dot (talk) 10:11, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • Dropping that here after it was posted over at WP:RFP, as it seems to be kind of an unblock request. Lectonar (talk) 12:55, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

"Reason: This is a University IP address, and we need it unblocked after it was wrongfully blocked for no reason given to us. It is against the rules of our University to ban and/or block ANY of our IP addresses here, as our students require the usage of them for their studies. Because it was a wrongful IP address "block" in the first place, giving our IP address page protection was especially unnecessary! In other words- it was never needed to begin with!
