Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to User talk:2003:77:4F18:CB35:204F:A026:5326:D639 has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 09:13, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Not vandalism

edit

Don't confuse restoring content with wp:vandalism. It did not warrant a level 4 warning. The current edit war on Salih Muslim Muhammad is a wp:content dispute and not vandalism. Jim1138 (talk) 09:23, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Alright, thanks. -213.74.186.109 (talk) 09:29, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive editing on the article Morphou Bay

edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Morphou Bay. Your edits appear to constitute disruptive editing and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated disruptive editing can result in the loss of editing privileges. Edit warring at Salih Muslim Muhammad

edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The full report is at the edit warring noticeboard. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 20:06, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Syrian Democratic Forces. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. 2003:77:4F14:1172:1D60:4420:778F:ECFD (talk) 12:42, 23 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

edit

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Talk:Rojava. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Calling other editors "supporters of anarchy and terror" is not OK, regardless of what you personally may believe about their motives. MPS1992 (talk) 19:18, 23 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Thank you for the heads up. I will try and focus on the content. -213.74.186.109 (talk) 05:48, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Names of God in Islam

edit

Significant information needs references. I undid your edit to Names of God in Islam as it was unreferenced. Adding references is how we ensure that content is valid. Without references, a reader can not easily validate information and there is no presumption of accuracy. To add a reference, please read Help:Referencing for beginners and Help:footnotes. This is covered by the Wikipedia policy of wp:verifiability (WP:V). Please wp:cite your edits with wp:reliable sources (RS). Per WP:V unsourced content can be removed. Your edits are saved in the wp:page history. Please add references when you restore the content. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 05:55, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello Jim1138, Thanks but did you bother clicking on Jawshan Kabir? I assume not since it mentions the 1001+ names in that article. :) -213.74.186.109 (talk) 06:02, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
I didn't. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 06:06, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
No problem. Always looking forward to working with an honest contributor. Cheers. -213.74.186.109 (talk) 06:27, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Stalking

edit

If you can demonstrate it, which you probably can given the IP who only added to your page, open a ticket on wp:ANI. Beware of wp:BOOMERANG. Sorry for the delay, I was away. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 21:58, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Jim is correct, but, another way of looking at it is that unregistered users -- like yourself -- who post at WP:ANI, are often not well received. That is unfair, but it seems to be how things work.
I saw the strange and unnecessary warnings from the other IP on this page earlier, and I did not act because it was not clear to me and also I am not an administrator. Anyway now Jim and I are both watching your page, so if the other unregistered editor comes back with more inappropriate edits then he will be quickly reverted. If that is OK for you, that's good. MPS1992 (talk) 22:06, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
IPs do get action on ANI. If cases more easily checked and verified would probably be well received. Please use wp:notification on your talk page so the discussion doesn't get scattered about? You may want to consider getting an wp:account. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 08:20, 29 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
FYI, I registered an account under Human like you. Thanks. -213.74.186.109 (talk) 12:19, 6 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Jim1138: @MPS1992: The warnings on this talk page were justified, see below (or [1] in case it gets deleted). User 213.74.186.109, who is complaining about the appropriate and justified warnings on his talk page, has a history of spamming other user talk pages with inappropriate warnings [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9], [10]. 2003:77:4F1A:AD00:8878:DEED:F702:DFC5 (talk) 11:28, 30 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Dewritech. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to List of conspiracy theories seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dewritech (talk) 08:50, 22 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
