October 2017 edit

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Chris Stedman, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 15:11, 25 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Chris Stedman. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 15:12, 25 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Chris Stedman, you may be blocked from editing. Optakeover(U)(T)(C) 15:16, 25 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

National varieties of English edit

In a recent edit to the page Schuylkill Mall, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to India, use Indian English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 00:58, 22 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Rutland Massachusetts January 24 2017 Edit edit

Hi, on January 24 2017 you made an edit to my hometown's wikipedia page stating "Scott Bakula is slated to perform a spoken-word piece at the 2017 celebration." I was wondering where this information came from, or if you have any sources about this. There is no news about this anywhere on the internet I can find, and no one I've talked to heard about it. I'm extremely curious. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Demman32 (talkcontribs) 01:34, 30 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Demman32: Please see the note at the top of this page. The IP address associated with this talk page is likely used by a large number of users. It is very unlikely that whomever added that questionable claim 3 years ago is reading this. - SummerPhDv2.0 02:01, 30 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
SummerPhDv2.0: I am deep in a mystery, summerphd. Do you have a relation to this IP?
Back on 21 December 2017, I reverted one of their edits. That added this talk page to my watch list. That's it.
You are unlikely to figure out if that 2017 edit was hearsay, insider information or mere vandalism at this late date. - SummerPhDv2.0 02:49, 30 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
