Request reason:

You have blocked the biggest library system in the United States (according to Wikipedia using 2010 data). This county is approximately 100 miles wide and 40 miles long. Please unblock. Either that or treat everyone equally and block the entire United States of America. The net effect would be about the same, 98-99% of innocent users harmed versus 1-2% of vandals.

Decline reason:

Given that in the past few months this IP address has consistently been used only by the vandal (and now you), there doesn't seem to be many false positives here. If you aren't the person this block is meant for, you are welcome to request creation of an account. Huon (talk) 19:46, 14 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I certainly understand (and apologize for) your frustration. Another anonymous user had abused multiple IP addresses within an IP range that your IP address happens to fall into, and hence the range 206.188.36.0/24 was blocked by an administrator. --JustBerry (talk) 19:27, 14 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) Please understand, though, that the block settings are 'anon. only, account creation blocked.' Although account creation is blocked, existing users can login, as the block is for anonymous editing only. Feel free to request an account be created for you at WP:ACC. The IP range will most likely not be unblocked prior to the ban's expiry on ~ February 5. --JustBerry (talk) 19:50, 14 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Bagumba: Regardless, I can ping the IP range blocking admin for you if you wish to seek further clarification. (IP range: 206.188.36.0/24; SPI: Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Dereks1x). --JustBerry (talk) 19:27, 14 January 2017 (UTC) (addressed by Huon (talk · contribs))Reply
