Elmer Jamias

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I'm afraid I have had to revert (undo) your edits to the Elmer Jamias article. Most of what you added was unsourced, and Wikipedia policy requires that all information in an article that is a biography of a living person be cited to a reliable source — typically this means a newspaper or magazine article. The biographies of living people policy also requires that some information, like a person's date of birth, not be included for privacy reasons. You may want to click the above link to read the details of this policy for yourself. (All the italicized words in this message are clickable links.)

Because the edits you made closely resemble a draft version of the Elmer Jamias article that was provided to another user by Mr. Jamias himself, I believe you should also read Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy and, more importantly, you should read Wikipedia's paid-editing policy. If you are found to be in violation of either of those policies, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

You are welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, but it helps to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so that your edits aren't undone. (I know that can be frustrating.) Help:Editing is a good place to start. You may also want to visit the Teahouse, a place where users can ask questions and have them answered by veteran editors. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 06:34, 30 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
