Sure thing. That's what I do here. I haven't done much content generation of late, though I may be getting school sponsorship to do nothing but edit during January. Yay for hippie liberal arts schools! Anyway, if it becomes a magnet for vandalism be sure to let me or another admin know and we will consider semi-protecting it. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
