Modifying someone else's comment

With reference to thse edits of yours [1] I have reverted them as whatever you are trying to do was not appropriate. Please do not modify someone else's signed comments. The few exceptions are unlikely to be something you will encounter as a new editor and in any case do not arise when you changing their meaning (see WP:TPO). If you are User:WikiWadeDavis, then when participating in a talk page please choose one account and stick to it, or if you have to use multiple accounts chose names that make it obvious you are the same editor. Also even if you were using the WikiWadeDavis account, please do not modify your comments once they have been replied to, especially not if you are doing so in a way that doesn't make it clear they have been modified. If you want to add comments, please add them to the bottom of the discussion (below Gråbergs Gråa Sång's reply when you made your comments), WP:Indent your post appropriately (a single column symbol : at the beginning would be the best choice here), and rememeber to WP:SIGN it using four tildes ~~~~. Yes, your suggestion to sign comments using four tildes makes sense, as does your suggestion to use a colon for indents. With your help, I am now trained in that area and have done so here.1peterk (talk) 18:26, 14 September 2021 (UTC)

I'll comment that while the tildes and colon you suggest are helpful, jthey are redundant. It is obvious that the history of the page will reveal the same info you found, as evidenced by your finding.1peterk (talk) 18:27, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
