Feedback on the shortlist of topics edit

My thoughts:

resort town is a very interesting topic. I am very intrigued if there is any economics literature on this topic. If you find some and use it to make contributions to the page, I think that will be good. Is there any research done on what people in the town were doing before the town became a resort town? If not, that would be great I learnt quite a lot from reading the article on the economy of Haiti . I think it is a relatively well encyclopedia entry, thought there are several statements for which statements are needed. I think one new section that you could add to that article would be on how the economy has fared since the earthquake. Another section you could add is about the anti-corruption efforts currently under way in the country, and how successful they have been. I did not know about CIVETS countries before. Very interesting. I don't know what additional information you can add to the article other that what is already contained in the report that first coined the term. Interestingly there is no citation in the entry for the report that first coined the term. If you choose this article, it will require a lot more thinking about how you can substantially contribute to it. I am open to hearing any ideas you may have. --1980na (talk) 01:54, 6 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Image Upload edit

Has anyone found a simpler way to upload images to their articles? Right now, I am unable to upload pictures directly from my computer; I must first upload the image to Wikimedia and then upload to my article. Is this the only way?
